What could be more annoying than leaving your watch at home when you are running late for an important meeting? It is something that a lot of people tend to encounter on a daily basis due to the fast paced life we are all living. So what could be more chic, more interesting and more convenient than having your watch planted firmly on your nails? Yes, you heard that right. Your nails.

The Timex Nail Watch might seem something from the future, however, rumors have it that Timex will soon launch it in the market. Timex Nail Watch was born after a recent Timex competition called the Timex 2154: The Future of Time. Timex Nail Watch, or Project Code TX54, is the runner up of the competition which aims to commemorate Timex's 150 years in the watch making industry.

The Timex Nail Watch comes in a translucent base with the Timex imprint at the edge. It also has different color varieties and is illuminated depending on lighting condition you are currently in. By pressing the Timex imprint, the numbers automatically light up, which is more than welcome in a dark room.

However, one major drawback to the Timex Nail Watch is it is disposable, so you need to stock up on these if you plan to wear it on your fingernails. No information on whether it is disposable has been released yet, so we are not sure if you can wear it in the shower. However, since it is disposable, we don't think it would be that hard to switch to a working one if it is not waterproof.

As of date, Timex has not released the Timex Nail Watch yet so information on how much it's going to be has reached us. So, are you ready to wear the time on your nails now that it's 2010?
